Ser Pin is the Campus Pastor and Board Member of Discover Church in Melbourne, Australia. She has 20 years of experience in preaching, teaching God’s Word, counseling, and building up disciples in both physical church and online church.

Ser Pin holds a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Masters degree in Counseling and focuses on Christian counseling. Her passion is to see people set free from all types of bondage so they can serve Jesus with all their heart.

Ser Pin is a bi-vocational pastor, working in the marketplace as senior advisor to a large pharmaceutical company in Australia. In her spare time, you will find her on a pier or at a beach, fishing with her Thai husband and their toddler daughter.

I grew up in China. My parents gave me a name meaning being brave and freely flying in the sky. My dream is to see the world.

I left China to study in Sweden and then migrated to Australia after graduation. I experienced the biggest trouble in my life after 4 years living in Australia. One church leader invited me to Discover Church at that time. I believe that it is God who sent this leader to me and opened this opportunity for me to know Jesus our Lord. I got saved after coming to the church for 6 months and baptized with the Holy Spirit. Because of pastor Steve, it is an honor to travel to several countries for ministry works. It is an eye opening and life changing experience.

I have been a member of Discover Church for more than 10 years. The church is my family. I enjoy any part of living in this family. The biggest reward in Discover Church is to see others are inspired and encouraged by our works.

I like music, jazz dancing, and playing skits. I started learning drums recently. I am looking forward to seeing more countries and trying new things in the future.

Online Pastor

Dr. Daniel Nistico is a minister, teacher, and musician with a heart to see people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. He was saved in 2015, shortly before getting married, and now serves the Lord alongside his wife, Marla, and their four children.

Daniel joined Discover Church in 2017, initially serving on the worship team. Over time, his involvement expanded into media, missions, teaching, and preaching, reflecting a growing call to ministry and a desire to build the Church both locally and globally. Marla Nistico is also actively involved in ministry, serving faithfully alongside him.

Alongside his ministry work, Daniel is an accomplished classical guitarist, composer, and educator, holding a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree. He is the founder of The Creative Classical Guitarist, an online platform dedicated to helping musicians grow in creativity through composing, improvising, and deep musical understanding. Through this work, he equips students worldwide not only in music, but in discipline, creativity, and purpose.

Together, Daniel and Marla have participated in international mission trips and media outreach, helping share the Gospel through both in-person ministry and digital platforms. Daniel is passionate about equipping believers, strengthening the Church, and reaching new people with the message of Jesus Christ.

In early 2026, Daniel was ordained into ministry—first by Pastor Steve on Mount Sinai, and later through the Southern Cross Association of Churches (SCAC).

Born and raised in Germany as the youngest of five girls, Julia is now a mother of two boys and a girl. Married to a New Zealander, they speak German at home, raising the children bilingual. The family took a bold step, leaving everything behind after living in Germany for over a decade before making the adventurous move to Melbourne, Australia, in 2019.

Though raised in a Christian home, Julia explored her own path during her teenage years. However, in her early twenties, she rediscovered the grace of Jesus. In 2017, while planning the move to Melbourne, she began following Pastor Steve Cioccolanti's teachings on YouTube, only later realizing he was in the very town they intended to move to.

Upon arriving in Australia, finding a home church became a priority for Julia, leading her to Discover Church. The teachings there introduced her to a deeper level of faith and growth, which she truly appreciates.

Previously working in pharmacy, Julia's career took a turn when she embraced God's plans, and she now works in the church office. In her free time, she enjoys meeting people and spending time outdoors. The Australian native bush or the beach is refreshing for her soul.

A fun fact about Julia is her dislike for the cold. Enduring many winters in Germany, she used to wish to escape the cold, gray weather but never considered Australia due to her fear of spiders (which is now cured!). However, God changed her mind, and now she embraces the warmth of Down Under. Not fitting the typical German stereotype, Julia doesn't like beer and finds soccer boring. The craziest thing she has ever done… There are many things on the list. Life should never be boring.

Worshipper & Church Administrator

After learning about Jesus in Sunday school, 7 year old Marla accepted Him into her heart. The same year, she chose the flute (because it was shiny) and began to excel in music, eventually becoming the first flutist in the state of Virginia and placing in regional and national competitions.

She received her Bachelor’s in Flute Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013 and her Master’s in Flute Performance from the Eastman School of Music in 2015. Music has taken Marla around the world from tours of China, New Zealand, and Australia, to festivals in Prague and Aspen. She has shared the stage with musicians like Joshua Bell, Itzak Perlman, and Edgar Meyer and played in concert halls across America.

Never knowing about how to live a Christian life and walk with God, Marla went her own way for many years until she hit “rock bottom.” She experienced two miraculous events back to back which led her to turn back to the Lord and rededicate her life to Him. With a new hunger and desire to learn about the Lord, Marla went searching online where she discovered Pastor Steve on YouTube.

After fervently learning from Pastor Steve online for three years, Marla and her husband Daniel moved to Australia where they were shocked to learn that Pastor Steve’s church was only five minutes away! They began serving in the church and the rest is history.

Marla and Daniel have three children. Marla enjoys singing, playing piano, composing worship songs, and writing poetry. She has a desire to use her creative gifts to inspire and help especially young women and children grow stronger in their relationship with the Lord.
